Emmerdale reveals who stole Robert Sugden's missing £100,000

Emmerdale has confirmed who stole £100,000 from Robert Sugden after the money went missing. In last week's scenes, Robert hosted a high-stakes poker game and won £100,000. After Robert went to The Woolpack to celebrate his win, he was shocked to find that his bag of cash had been stolen from under his nose.
In tonight's (19 October) episode, Aaron and Sarah set out to interrogate some of the obvious suspects, and Aaron told Robert that he had asked the rugby players whether they had taken it by accident.

Robert told him it had been nicked, with Aaron replying: "Well, what do you expect when you're flashing 100 grand round the pub?"
Aaron and Sarah headed off to talk to Kev, with Aaron saying Kev was "brazen enough" to steal the money. When they found Kev doing some gardening, the pair accused him of trying to bury the money, but Kev denied it.
They apologised and moved on to their next suspect, speaking to Jai after Kev had pointed them in his direction. He denied their accusations too, saying: "I'm a successful businessman. Why would I resort to petty theft?"
Robert and Serena went to talk to Charity, asking whether she'd seen anything. When Charity said she hadn't, Serena said: "I figured if you'd seen something, you'd have already mentioned it."
Ryan sensed that something was off and asked Charity why she was being weird with Robert and Serena, saying: "It was you who nicked the money."
At first, Charity denied the accusation, saying: "I feel very uncomfortable with this conversation."

After Ryan pushed for more information, Charity admitted she stole the money, saying she did so out of jealousy over Sarah.
"I couldn't hack seeing her laughing and joking, having the time of her life with that lot whilst blanking me. It was like she'd suddenly had some fancy, magic, Sugden glow-up."
Charity called the decision to steal the money a "moment of madness", calling it "epically stupid" and saying she had to find out a way to fix it and return the money.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
