Baby Doll Juby says backlash on Donny Pangilinan dream a ‘learning experience’

Juby of girl group Showtime Baby Dolls has finally addressed the criticism aimed at her after sharing a “dream” that supposedly involved a sexual encounter with her celebrity crush, actor Donny Pangilinan.
Juby spoke about the issue during the group’s guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Thursday, Nov. 5, after show host Abunda asked what she had learned from the backlash that she recently faced.
“I would say na it hit me on my rock bottom. Parang ang dami ko pong realizations. And since kaka-start lang po namin, I would consider that a learning experience ko po and namin,” she said.

The performer also noted that her and Pangilinan’s respective management teams had already discussed and resolved the matter privately.
“Okay naman na po. Since nag-usap na po ‘yung management ng side ko po and management ng side ni Donny, focus na po kami (Baby Dolls) ngayon sa concerts, sa ganap,” she said.

Donny earlier said he did not take offense over Juby’s sexual dream about him but admitted that he felt “awkward” about it. His father, Anthony Pangilinan, also spoke about the matter, saying that Juby’s statement could have been handled with more sensitivity. /ra
