Universal and DreamWorks' new fantasy movie has defeated The Odyssey.
After a record-breaking summer at the box office, Universal Pictures dominated the market with its releases. However, Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey was outmatched in terms of reviews, as the new fantasy movie Forgotten Island achieved a rare Rotten Tomatoes rating of 100%. Nolan's epic adaptation was not far behind and achieved an extremely impressive rating of 94% from critics and 96% from viewers on Rotten Tomatoes.
The animated adventure, Forgotten Island, stars Dave Franco, H.E.R., Liza Soberano, Jenny Slate, and Manny Jacinto as two best friends who stumble upon a mysterious portal that transports them to a fantastical island called Nakali, filled with magical creatures. However, their memories of their friendship are the price for returning home, so they have to find a way to leave before they forget each other forever.
