Big Brother 2026 confirms housemate has quit the show and exit will air on-screen tonight

ITV has confirmed that Big Brother housemate Charlotte Nott has exited the series, with her departure to air during tonight's (27 September) episode.

The exit was confirmed via a social media post, which read: "Charlotte has made the decision to leave the Big Brother House. We thank her for being a fantastic Housemate. Tune in tonight to watch her departure."

Charlotte, an 18-year-old quadruple amputee from Oxford, was the youngest housemate this year, and her exit comes a day after fellow housemate Chelsey was evicted following a public vote.

Charlotte's entrance into the house sparked concern from fans due to an "unforeseen issue with her shoe".

As she made her way towards the house, cameras showed the housemate struggling with her footwear before host Will Best went over to help. Charlotte was heard saying she needed to take off her prosthetic legs, and when she was next seen being interviewed by Best and co-host AJ Odudu, she was without them.

Addressing the moment, ITV said preparations had been made with Charlotte well in advance.

"Prior to Charlotte's entrance to the house, we worked closely with her and a specialist access co-ordinator to understand her access requirements and agree, with her, the arrangements for her entrance and time in the house," a spokesperson said in a statement.

"A plan was put in place based on those discussions and agreed with Charlotte; however, she had an unforeseen issue with her shoe."

Charlotte, a quadruple amputee, had the lower parts of her arms and legs amputated after suffering from meningitis.

"People are surprised at anything I do, even normal things like cooking, doing my make-up, getting dressed, stuff like that," she said.

"And obviously they're going to be watching me 24 hours a day so they're going to see me do all those things. They're probably going to be surprised at the most normal things for me, those are going to be the most shocking for everybody watching."

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
