Face-to-face classes suspended in parts of Luzon Thursday, Aug. 27

MANILA, Philippines — Face to face classes are suspended in parts of Pampanga and Benguet on Thursday, August 27, due to the expected impact of heavy rains triggered by the southwest monsoon or “habagat.”

• Santo Tomas – no face-to-face classes (public and private); shift to alternative modes of learning until Aug. 28

Benguet

• Kibungan – no face-to-face classes (preschool to senior high school); shift to alternative modes of learning until Aug. 28

Meanwhile, classes and work are suspended in Botolan, Zambales in observance of the Feast of Saint Monica, the patron saint of the municipality. /gsg
