Giacomo Raspadori has been diagnosed with a muscular issue after withdrawing from international duty with Italy and Atalanta expect him to be out for a couple of weeks.
The striker had been in the starting XI for Monday’s 4-1 Nations League victor away to Turkiye, and impressed with his performance before coming off at half-time.

Coach Roberto Mancini later confirmed this was due to an injury concern, which later proved bad enough for him to leave the Nazionale and return to his club.
Atalanta announced that tests showed a low-grade strain of the biceps femoris muscle in his right thigh.
According to various reports, they expect Raspadori to be out of action for circa two weeks, so he could potentially be ready once Serie A resumes after the long break for the Nations League.

The forward has struggled for playing time with La Dea so far this season, scoring one goal in six appearances between Serie A and the Conference League play-offs.
