Missing 9-yr-old boy found dead in Abra; search continues for sibling
SAN ILDEFONSO, Ilocos Sur — A nine-year-old boy, who had been missing with his sibling, was found dead on a mountain in this town on Saturday morning (Sept. 5), according to local responders.
The boy was found at the top of Mt. Mabitog in Sitio Asilip, Barangay Caganayan, around 11 a.m., during continuing search and rescue operations conducted by local responders and volunteers.
The information is according to the local disaster risk reduction management office and the boy’s relatives.

His remains were brought to the family’s home in Sitio Asilip, where authorities were attending to the case.
