Turnstile Promise Not to Trash SNL Set in New Promo
Turnstile have reluctantly promised to behave themselves ahead of their upcoming debut on Saturday Night Live.
In a new promo, cast member Ben Marshall noted that the Baltimore outfit will be the show’s first hardcore musical guest since Fear’s famously chaotic 1981 appearance. That prompted this week’s host Dakota Johnson to ask all five members to assure her they won’t similarly trash the set. After an awkward silence and some prodding, the band hesitantly agreed … though they didn’t sound particularly convincing.
