Lewis Hamilton calls Kim Kardashian his 'girlfriend'

Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton is letting fans into his personal life and sharing the update in his relationship status.Speaking at a press panel ahead of the Formula One Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, the 41-year-old opened up about the happiness he has found in spending time with his family and 'girlfriend' Kim Kardashian’s four children.

“My niece and nephew always gave me a lot of happiness,” Hamilton said.

Going on to gush over Kim, he added, “My girlfriend’s kids, I love spending time with them. She’s got four, so I’m getting to play with these kids."

While the star couple is only dating, the two have taken the next step in their romance, by getting a pooch together. Revealing the name of the furball, he shared, "I got them a dog this year, so little Halo is a new member of that family."

Kardashian shares four children- North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm - with her ex-husband, rapper Kanye West. Hamilton over the past months, has quickly become a regular at the Kardashian family events and outings. Kim and her children have also been seen accompanying the racer and spending time with him while he is out on F1 races around the world.

Hamilton and Kardashian were romantically linked in February, with reports of their relationship attracting considerable attention. The pair subsequently made their relationship Instagram official in April, further fuelling buzz that their romance is quickly heating up and the couple are getting serious in their romance.When not spending time together after the races, the couple is seen jet-setting out to various romantic holidays around the globe. They most recently made heads turn while touring the city of love, Paris, together last month.
