Slavia Prague vs Arsenal LIVE: Champions League result, latest updates and fan reaction

Arsenal continued their latest bid for Champions League glory in Prague on Wednesday night. The Gunners travelled to the Czech Republic and left with their unbeaten start to this season's league phase intact, with Mikel Arteta's side ending the night in the top three.

Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres were on target for Arsenal in a 2-1 win over Slavia Prague in the Champions League. The Gunners returned to the Fortuna Arena exactly a year on from recording a comfortable win on matchday four of the league phase and repeated the trick, albeit in contrasting circumstances.

Madueke broke the deadlock inside the opening 10 minutes, latching onto a flick from Gyokeres before keeping his cool to score his third goal of the season. Gyokeres then went from provider to goalscorer shortly before half time as he picked out the far corner with a sublime finish before Wiktor Nowak set up a grandstand finish with a stoppage-time consolation.
