Who is Sebastian Croft? Meet Celebrity Traitors 2026 contestant and actor

The Celebrity Traitors will finally be back on screens tonight, as 21 celebrities brave the ultimate game of betrayal and deception.
The series once more welcomes famous faces to the Scottish Highlands, some chosen to be Traitors and others the Faithful who most detect and expose those working against them.
But it won't be easy, with more twists and turns to come, as teased by the BBC.
Amongst the celebrities taking part this year is Sebastian Croft, who admits he's probably better at telling lies than spotting them.
"Spotting lies is so difficult. It's so dependent on your own relationships with people," he said. "One of the other things I'm excited about is this will be the first time I'm playing with people who, on the whole, don't know me and don't know how I work."
He continued: "I've played with the same group so many times that people hold grudges from previous games, or they're like, oh, you're an actor, how can I trust a word you say?"
So, just who is Sebastian Croft? Read on to find out more about the Celebrity Traitors contestant.

Sebastian Croft is an actor and singer who first made his television debut as young Ned Stark in Game of Thrones. In recent years, he is perhaps best known for his role as Ben Hope in Netflix's Heartstopper.
After exiting the role, he co-starred in romantic comedy How to Date Billy Walsh alongside Charithra Chandran. His other projects include Get Away with Nick Frost and Aisling Bea and BBC crime drama Dope Girls.
Croft also has an extensive theatre career, having made his West End debut in Oliver! in 2010, before later starring in Les Misérables, Matilda and The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole.
In 2023, Croft made a return to the stage after eight years and starred in 4000 Miles alongside Dame Eileen Atkins.
Why did Sebastian sign up for The Celebrity Traitors?
Sebastian Croft simply couldn't turn down the chance to appear on Celebrity Traitors, calling it "a once in a lifetime opportunity".
He said: "I play it at home with my family at Christmas, my birthday party in December before I found out I’d be on the show was Traitors themed, and it's just the most amazing game. To be with a bunch of my heroes in a castle with Claudia is wonderful. In the first series when they arrived at the graves and she stood there with the word celebrities in quotes on her back, I was screaming at the screen!
"Sometimes you've just got to go; I have this opportunity, and I must do it. It’s so camp and like nothing else. I'm someone who watches and judges other people on what they're doing. It's really scary now it’s me though. It feels like a slight leap of faith."
Does Sebastian want to be a Faithful or Traitor?
Sebastian Croft wants to be a Traitor, telling the BBC: "Getting to go in the turret would be the coolest thing ever." However, he does think he'd have "a lot of fun being a Faithful".
"I think the big part of this game is just accepting that I have no control over these things but then also planning for every outcome," he said. "I think the best course of action, the dream scenario for me, is to be a Faithful and then get recruited. It means that for the beginning part of the game you can have genuine conviction in your Faithfulness."
The Celebrity Traitors begins on Thursday 1 October at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
