The Dog Stars is heading to VOD.
Directed by Ridley Scott, the film adapts the novel of the same name by Peter Heller, following a pilot named Hig (Jacob Elordi) as he attempts to survive with his dog in a post-apocalyptic United States. Also starring Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley, and Guy Pearce, The Dog Stars hit theaters on August 28, and failed to make much of an impact at the box office.
Now, 20th Century Studios confirms that The Dog Stars will release on digital platforms on Tuesday, October 27, with the 4K UHD and DVD release to follow on December 1. The film will be available on VOD from all major digital retailers, including Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, and Fandango at Home.
