The 2026 Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) Conference is underway in Enugu, with editors, media partners, Christian and political leaders converging to discuss key issues affecting Nigeria ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The conference, with the theme, “The Ballot, the Media and the Task of Keeping Democracy Alive,” focuses on the role of the media in strengthening Nigeria’s democratic system and promoting credible elections.
