華華：怎麼了？發生了什麼事？

Huáhua: Zěnme le? Fāshēng le shénme shì?

清清：今天是中小學的開學日，我家附近有學校，路上塞滿了送孩子上學的家長，到處都是汽車和摩托車，好可怕！

Qīngqing: Jīntiān shì zhōngxiǎoxué de kāixuérì, wǒ jiā fùjìn yǒu xuéxiào, lùshàng sāimǎn le sòng háizi shàngxué de jiāzhǎng, dàochù dōu shì qìchē hàn mótuōchē, hǎo kěpà!

華華：我們上班的時間比較晚，你怎麼會碰到他們呢？

Huáhua: Wǒmen shàngbān de shíjiān bǐjiào wǎn, nǐ zěnme huì pèngdào tāmen ne?

清清：因為我有個案子要趕，本來想早一點到公司來做，沒注意到今天是開學日。

華華：開學了，以後要算好出門的時間，才不會又跟他們擠。

清清：對啊！想想那些送完孩子還要趕著上班的家長，也真是辛苦了！

華華：等你以後也養了小孩就知道了。

Huáhua: Děng nǐ yǐhòu yě yǎng le xiǎohái jiù zhīdào le.

翻譯 Translation

Qingqing: Ugh. . . There was another traffic jam near my house this morning. It was so annoying.

Huahua: What happened? What was going on?

Qingqing: Today was the first day of school for elementary and secondary schools. There’s one near my house, so the roads were packed with parents taking their children to school. There were cars and scooters everywhere. It was terrifying.

Huahua: We start work relatively late. How did you end up running into school traffic?

Qingqing: I have a project that I need to finish soon, so I planned to get to the office early and work on it. I didn’t realize that today was the first day of school.

Huahua: Now that school has started, you should plan what time to leave home, so you won’t get caught in the crowds again.

Qingqing: That’s true. When I think about those parents who have to rush to work after dropping their kids off, I realize how hard it is for them, too.

Huahua: You’ll understand when you have children of your own someday.
