Adnan Sami responds to Pakistani spy joke on 'India's Got Latent 2' with Ayushmann Khurrana as panellist: ‘Pehle mujhse permission lo’

A joke from the latest episode of 'India's Got Latent' with Samay Raina has gone viral, and singer Adnan Sami has now responded. The comedian Kullu named Adnan while Ayushmann Khurrana was describing his upcoming film, 'Udta Teer'.

Ayushmann Khurrana appeared as a panellist on the show, along with Kullu, comedian Rajat Sood and mentalist Suhani Shah. In a reel shared on Instagram, Samay Raina asked the actor about 'Udta Teer'. Ayushmann explained, "It's India's first patriotic comedy. It's also a spy comedy. Isme main ek Pakistani spy hoon jo India mein aata hai, uski yaddasht chali jaati hai aur woh sochta hai ki woh Indian hai.

Usko desh bhakti toh yaad hai, lekin desh kaunsa hai bhul jaata hai (I play a Pakistani spy who comes to India and then has a memory loss.

He thinks he is an Indian. He is patriotic but forgets which country he belongs to)."Kullu instantly said, “Woh Adnan Sami hai (That is Adnan Sami).” The line left everyone in splits.

How did Adnan Sami react?

Adnan Sami commented on the reel, writing, “Pehle mujhse ‘Rights’ lo aur phir film banao (Take the rights from me first and then make that film)!!!!”Adnan is a well-known singer. He gave up his Pakistani citizenship and was granted Indian citizenship in early 2016.

Earlier, he held a Pakistani passport.

Everything about 'Udta Teer'

The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles. It is directed by debutant Akash A Kaushik. The story follows Bilal Ahmad, a Pakistani spy played by Ayushmann, who enters India. After an accident, he loses his memory and wrongly believes he is an Indian spy.At the trailer launch, Ayushmann described the role as ‘the most difficult character’. He said, “It is the most difficult character because things were happening around him. I had to have that straight face, though there were moments when I felt like laughing, but I couldn't. I had to be normal while there was chaos happening around me.”Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain have produced the film. It will release in cinemas on October 9.
