Meta Platforms (META) shares fell 1.8% in premarket trading Monday after the company filed an automatic shelf registration statement allowing it to offer and sell various securities in one or more future offerings.
The filing covers common stock, preferred stock, depositary shares, warrants, purchase contracts, and units. Meta said it would provide a prospectus supplement detailing the specific securities and terms each time it conducts an offering.
