Mamelodi Sundowns and PUMA introduce new third kit

Having introcuded the 2026/27 yellow home and stunning blue away kits, Sundowns and PUMA have gone white with the third alternative kit.

The crisp white canvas provides a clean contrast against the “Team Royal” blue panels underneath the underarms and trim.

The Ubuntu-Botho S&E sponsor logo transitions beautifully in the exact matching royal blue dye, preserving a highly cohesive and professional aesthetic that looks stunning under stadium floodlights.

A CLOUD OVER THE DEFENDING AFRICAN CHAMPIONS

Meanwhile, there is still a sense of disbelief over the CAF Champions League elimination. Ka Bo Yellow crashed out of the second preliminary qualifying round on the away goal rule against Angola’s Wiliete.

“Of course, it’s a failure,” coach Miguel Cardoso had said. “It’s a failure from everybody, the players, and the coaches. But let me explain: we completely controlled the match, but we failed to score the goals that we needed.”

“Disaster is something else in life,” Cardoso said. “The only way now is to look forward. There are other competitions to win. We need to move on very quickly. It’s a tough blow, but we just need to look forward and keep winning.”

Having lifted the MTN8 title and FIFA Intercontinental Cup this season, Sundowns will be gunning for the Betway Premiership title, Carling Knockout and Nedbank Cup trophies.
