Asian Games 2026, Squash Team Semifinals: India men to face Malaysia, Indian women up against Hong Kong

The semifinal draw for the squash team events at the Asian Games 2026 was completed on Wednesday.

Both Indian men’s and women’s teams have qualified for the semifinals and will play their last-four clashes on Thursday. While the Indian men will take on Malaysia, the Indian women will square off against Hong Kong.

In the other men’s semifinal, Pakistan will battle Hong Kong. If India and Pakistan win their semifinals, it would result in a repeat of the last edition’s final, when India pulled off a thrilling win.

Meanwhile, the Indian women’s team is chasing its first Asiad gold.

India has already won three medals in squash so far at the Asian Games 2026 — Anahat Singh (Silver in women’s singles), Abhay Singh (Silver in men’s singles) and Velavan Senthilkumar/Joshna Chinappa (Bronze in mixed doubles).
