The municipality of Lebak in Sultan Kudarat on Monday, September 21, 2026, suspended classes "due to an imminent threat to school safety and public security."

Lebak Mayor Frederick Celestial issued Executive Order No. 170 on Monday ordering the "suspension of classes and all activities, including practices that require in-person attendance on school premises at all levels, both public and private schools within the Municipality of Lebak, Sultan Kudarat due to an imminent threat to school safety and public security."

The suspension of classes and activities is effective September 21 "until further notice."
