PNP files reckless imprudence raps vs Zamboanga shooter’s father, guard

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) has filed a case against the father of the teenage gunman in the fatal Ateneo de Zamboanga University Junior High School shooting and a security guard following its investigation into the incident.
“With these findings, a complaint for Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Homicide and Physical Injury was filed before the proper prosecutorial authority against the registered owner of the firearms used in the incident and a school security personnel, based on the evidence established during the investigation,” the PNP said in a statement on Wednesday.
The teenage gunman allegedly wielded two pistols registered to his father. /apl
