As Selma Blair continues to deal with the repercussions of the October 11 incident, which resulted in her arrest, she recently made her first public appearance since then. From October 16 to October 18, Blair will attend the 90s Con in Hartford, where she will interact with fans, sign autographs, and take photos with them.

Selma Blair was spotted for the first time at 90s Con after getting arrested

Following her arrest last week, fans had wondered whether the ‘Cruel Intentions’ actress would appear at the 90s Con in Hartford or not. However, the organisers confirmed that Blair would be present during the three-day event to interact with fans.

During the event, she appeared at a signing booth. She met and took photos with fans during the October 16-18 event at the Hartford Convention Center in Hartford. Many people shared the photos online, which also included social media influencer Brad Deite, who posed along with the ‘Legally Blonde’ star for a photo op.

This is the first public appearance Blair has made since she was arrested on October 11 for allegedly assaulting a flight attendant and a police officer, as well as a nurse. She wore a simple pair of black pants and a white sweater with a black collar accent, along with white socks and black shoes. She was all smiles with her fans as she posed playfully with them and clicked pictures.

Why was Selma Blair arrested?

On October 11, Blair was taken into custody following an incident involving a flight attendant on the plane.

She was arrested after allegedly biting and punching flight attendants aboard a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to New York and also kicking a police officer who was in charge of transporting her to the hospital, as well as the nurse who had been there at the medical facility to assist her.The organisers of the 90s Con had confirmed that while Blair would attend the event, they opted to spend more time with fans. Her name was subsequently removed from the main lineup of the question-and-answer series. When fans asked about the same issue, the company replied to the comment by stating, "We elected to spend more time at the table to meet fans at the end of the day.”

She later appeared in court on October 12, where she was arraigned and pleaded not guilty on two counts of assault on the officer and the nurse. If convicted, Blair will stay in jail for almost seven years.
