美国和德国科学家获得今年度诺贝尔生理学或医学奖

(德国之声中文网)周一(10月5日),位于瑞典斯德哥尔摩的卡罗林斯卡医学院宣布今年度的诺贝尔生理学或医学奖授予戴瑟罗斯(Karl Deisseroth)、黑格曼(Peter Hegemann)和纳格尔(Georg Nagel),从而开启今年诺贝尔奖得奖系列的帷幕。

今年的诺贝尔奖奖金为1200万瑞典克朗(约合120万美元),诺贝尔生理或医学奖为每年首个宣布的奖项。

诺贝尔奖评选委员会首先在X平台上发布消息,并对这三位光遗传学领域的开拓者给予了高度评价,称他们“促成了光遗传学的发展,使得人类能够开启或关闭活体大脑中单个神经元的活动”。

诺奖委员会还写道,“目前,世界各地的实验室都在利用这一方法来揭示大脑的奥秘。”

戴瑟罗斯为美国人,目前就职于斯坦福大学,而黑格曼和纳格尔均是德国人,前者身为洪堡大学教授,后者在维尔茨堡大学任职。
