A Game of Thrones reunion of sorts is happening next month, and fans will be very happy about it, serving as the perfect gift before a possible season 9. Game of Thrones is one of the biggest TV shows of all time. We all know how the HBO fantasy series ended, and sure, Game of Thrones season 8 could have been much better.
That said, a disappointing final season does not ruin all that was accomplished for nearly a decade on the generation release. Game of Thrones did not only rule its genre as the best fantasy series of all time, but it was consistently the most talked-about TV show in the world for years. That has since been passed on to Game of Thrones' prequel shows on HBO.
After the end of the original series, HBO has continued to play in the fantasy universe created by author George R. R. Martin. That comes in the form of House of the Dragon, another dark series, which focuses on the Targaryen Civil War with dragons running aplenty, and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, which mixes drama and comedy to create a refreshing Westeros experience.

As part of its 2026 lineup, Comic Con Liverpool has announced that a high total of 16 Game of Thrones actors will be present at the convention on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11. That list includes a decent number of major players from the Game of Thrones cast, alongside some actors who played smaller roles in the HBO fantasy series. The Game of Thrones cast members who will show up at 2026's Comic Con Liverpool include major players like Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Rory McCann (The Hound), Carice van Houten (Melisandre), Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran Stark), and Jerome Flynn (Bronn).
Also making an appearance at Comic Con Liverpool are Game of Thrones actors like Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy), Tom Wlaschiha (Jaqen H'ghar), Ellie Kendrick (Meera Reed), Paul Kaye (Thoros of Myr), Oona Chaplin (Talisa Stark), Ian McElhenney (Barristan Selmy), Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne), Vladimir Furdik (The Night King), and Eugene Simon (Lancel Lannister).
