Discworld Officially Returns As A Brand-New Era Begins

Created by the late great Terry Pratchett, the Discworld franchise is one of the most beloved in the history of literature. Consisting of a collection of fantasy novels, as well as graphic novels and short stories, the story takes place on, you guessed it, the Discworld, a flat planet balanced on the back of four elephants. Oh, and the elephants just so happen to be standing on the backs of some turtles.

First appearing back in 1983 with The Color of Magic and coming to an end in 2015 with The Shepherd's Crown, which was published posthumously, the Discworld series not only become synonymous with Pratchett, but went onto inspire plenty of the fantasy novels we know and love today.
