Najib's lawyers await instructions over house arrest

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Razak's legal team is awaiting instructions after the former prime minister was granted conditional house arrest.
His lawyer, Muhammad Farhan Muhammad Shafee, said the legal team did not want to comment prematurely and risk providing inaccurate information.
"I am waiting for instructions on the latest development. I do not want to give any wrong information," he said when contacted today.
Farhan added that Messrs Shafee & Co would issue a statement if a response was warranted.
