Reggie Drops New Diss Track Aimed At Kai Cenat Hours Before Their Court Date

Translate

Reggie has found a new way to keep his feud with Kai Cenat going, and the timing couldn't be more pointed. The streamer, Kai's former Clover Boys friend, released a diss track titled"Before Court" on the same day the two are due to face each other in court. The song comes with an official music video, and it doesn't hold back on Kai. In one of the lines getting the most attention, Reggie compares people who act tough to Kai, suggesting they are still softer than the streamer. It's a clear jab at Kai's image, and it arrived just hours before their November 3 hearing.

What's in Reggie's 'Before Court' video

The music video runs for just under two minutes and was shot in a dimly lit recording studio. Reggie, wearing a white T-shirt with his hair in braids, raps straight to the camera with studio speakers and lights behind him.

The title alone tells you what it's about. Rather than waiting for the hearing to play out, Reggie chose to have his say through music first, with Kai's toughness as one of his main targets.

How Reggie and Kai Cenat ended up in court

The pair have been at odds since late September, when Reggie left the Clover Boys and began making allegations about the group and Kai.

Kai's lawyers responded on October 2 with a cease-and-desist letter, calling Reggie's claims"categorically false" and demanding he delete his videos. The letter also accused Reggie of threatening Kai and people connected to him.

The dispute then moved to the courts. Kai has filed a petition seeking a protective order against Reggie, and Kai's team served Reggie papers confirming a hearing on November 3. A temporary order of this kind can stop someone from contacting or approaching another person while a judge reviews the case. Reggie has said he plans to contest it.

Why Reggie's timing matters

Dropping a diss track on the day of a court date is a bold move, especially in a case where Kai has accused him of making threats. It shows Reggie has no plans to back down quietly.

The outcome of the November 3 hearing has not been reported yet, and it's still unclear whether the court will grant Kai the protective order he has asked for.
