Emmerdale airs major slip-up for Sadie King amid Robert Sugden scheme in early ITVX release

Has Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) just made a huge blunder in Emmerdale?

The devious character staged her return last month to pay tribute to ex-hubby Jimmy King (Nick Miles). In a huge twist, she revealed that for the last three years, they'd pursued a relationship.

This devastated his wife Nicola (Nicola Wheeler), who refused to believe that her beloved other half would be unfaithful. Sadie also claimed to be stunned, saying that she believed that Jimmy was separate from Nicola.

It soon transpired that the pair had been in touch prior to his death, and that he was on his way to meet her with a lump sum of cash when he passed away. She desperately needs this money, and has roped Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) into finding it.

Last week, Nicola began listening to a voice note that Jimmy had recorded for Sadie prior to his death. Unfortunately, she whipped her headphones out before she could hear his comments about how committed he was to their marriage.

In today's episode, Sadie upped her game and told Robert that she was sure the money would be stashed away at Caleb Miligan's (William Ash) depot.

She made her way to the warehouse and pretended to be interested in his wife Ruby's (Beth Cordingly) wine businesses. The two sampled some of the profits, Sadie using this as an opportunity to get closer to her, before slipping off to the office to see what she could find.

Suddenly, Caleb swanned in and found her snooping. Sadie claimed that she was looking for Jimmy's money, that she could then give to Nicola to ease her financial dismay.

Later, enjoying another glass of wine with Ruby, a drunken Sadie made an almighty slip-up - she began talking about a trip to New York last Christmas, where she had a fling with a fella named Federico.

If she was so devoted to Jimmy, then why would she be sleeping with another man?

Has Ruby realised what's going on?
