Bradford Bulls Women have appointed Amy Hardcastle as their new head coach.

The 37-year-old centre retired from international rugby last month as England's all-time leading try scorer with 30 from 29 caps.

Hardcastle started her playing career with the Bulls and will combine the role with the National Championship side with continuing to play for Women's Super League side St Helens.

"Bradford Bulls has always been a special club to me, so the opportunity to return in this role is something that means a huge amount personally," she told the club website., external

"I want our women's team to represent what Bradford Bulls stands for - passion, pride, hard work, togetherness and ambition.

"There is a huge amount of work ahead, but that is what makes this opportunity so exciting."

Hardcastle takes over a side that lost 11 of their 12 league games in 2026 to finish second bottom of the division.
