Emraan Hashmi confirms the possibility of ‘Awarapan 3'

Bollywood icon Emraan Hashmi returned to the ‘Awarapan’ franchise for the first time since the first film’s release in 2007. Now that the second film, which stars Disha Patani and Hashmi in the lead, has been released in theaters, fans are excited about the possibility of a third film.

During one of his promotional visits to a theater, the actor thanked everyone for their support while teasing fans about the possibility of another film in the franchise.

Recently, the famed actor, along with his co-star Disha Patani, visited a theater in Mumbai where his latest film, ‘Awarapan 2,' was playing. During the interval of the screening, he got up in front of everyone and thanked his fans for all the love and support they have shown him since the film was announced.

He shared, “This is a film that belongs to fans more than the makers. Isiliye hum wapis aaye abhi, is journey ko humne aur thrilling banaya with more action and more emotions.

Friday ko bas humare haath se nikal gayi aur aapke hawale (This is a film that belongs to the fans more than the makers, which is why we have returned. We have made this journey even more thrilling with more action and emotions. On Friday, the film will be out of our hands and in yours.)

When a fan in the audience commented that the film would be a blockbuster hit, Hashmi laughed and replied, “Movie baaki hai, second half better hai” (The movie is not over yet, and the second half is better). He then teased the possibility of a third film, sending every fan in the theater into a frenzy as they cheered for the actor. He continued, “Umeed yahi hai ki aapko puri film pasand aayegi. Hopefully, Awarapan 3 will be very soon” (We hope you enjoy the entire film, and hopefully, Awarapan 3 will come very soon).

Plot of ‘Awarapan 2’

Emraan Hashmi’s second film in the franchise is based on Shivam Pandit, who is found to be alive after the events of the 2007 film. He finds a baby who has been abandoned at his girlfriend’s grave and names her Aaliyah. He raises her and watches over her; however, when she is abducted by a human trafficking ring in Bangkok, he breaks all measures to get her back home safely.
