600 Bulacan residents stage rally against floods

CITY OF MALOLOS — Close to 600 residents from about 30 different people’s organizations staged a major rally called “Kilos Bulacan” on Monday (August 31) to demand an end to flooding, corruption and reclamation.
The rallyists are expected to converge at the Provincial Capitol from Malolos Amphitheater and near Fausta Club Royale area along the still flooded MacArthur highway.

Bulacan is currently under a state of calamity as its 23 towns and cities suffer from floods while Dona Remedios Trinidad town recorded landslides due to typhoons Luis, Maymay, Neneng and the southwest monsoon.
