Backstreet Boys happy to sing track ‘Bottle Up’ for new ‘PAW Patrol’ movie
The Backstreet Boys are enthusiastic to lend their voices to the new pop song “Bottle Up,” which will be featured in the upcoming “PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie.”
Written by Ed Sheeran, Savan Kotecha, Johnny McDaid and Ilya Salmanzadeh, the song appears during a sequence in which the PAW Patrol pups explore an island on hang gliders.
Director Cal Brunker said they knew early that the scene would be a fitting moment for a pop song.

“And when you want a great pop song, who better than Backstreet Boys?” Brunker said in a statement sent to Inquirer Entertainment. “We’re so excited to have a new Backstreet Boys song just for our movie.”

Backstreet Boys’ member Nick Carter, on the other hand, said PAW Patrol has been part of his family’s life since his children were young.
“With all my kids, and especially for my son, we were watching it from the first episode on, and so every single one of those episodes has memories for us. So the fact that we could be involved with this movie in any capacity is so great,” he expressed.
The band shared that the five members of Backstreet Boys and the PAW Patrol pups share a few similarities, particularly in how different personalities come together.

“Everybody brings something to the table, whether it’s our voices or individual musical personalities or influences,” AJ McLean said. “Our sound together as a unit is unlike anything else, and that is what makes the Backstreet Boys.

Kevin Richardson, meanwhile, noted that the members’ individual strengths complement one another.

The 90s boy band also said they saw “Bottle Up” as something that would be appreciated by their children.
“It is a special moment for us to be part of something so amazing – and that our kids all love – so far into our career,” McLean expressed.
Howie Dorough explained that the song was inspired by the pups’ experience of encountering dinosaurs together for the first time.
“You want to bottle up that moment. You want it to last forever,” Dorough said.
In “PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie,” the pups crash-land on an uncharted tropical island after their ship is caught in a mysterious storm. There, they encounter dinosaurs and meet Rex, a pup who has lived on the island for years and developed expertise in all things dino-related.
Their adventure takes a dangerous turn when their longtime rival, Mayor Humdinger, begins mining the island for its natural resources and accidentally triggers the eruption of a dormant volcano. The pups must then carry out a series of major rescues and stop Humdinger before the island’s dinosaurs face extinction.
