The local government added that concerned offices continue to monitor various areas across the municipality to ensure the safety and welfare of residents.
On Wednesday, the local government tallied 233 families (703 individuals) from 12 barangays who fled strong floods caused by persistent heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon.
Of the total, 221 families (658 individuals) sought shelter in 17 evacuation centers, while 12 families (45 individuals) stayed temporarily with relatives.
Floodwaters reached chest level along portions of some roads, making passage difficult and prompting authorities to assist residents in affected communities.
Despite the widespread flooding, no casualties had been reported as of the Wednesday report./coa
