Jharkhand minister's daughter, 3 others killed in road accident

RANCHI: A tragic road accident on Marine Drive in Jamshedpur claimed four lives in the early hours of Thursday.At around 3 a.m., a speeding white car crashed into the rear of a truck parked on the roadside.The impact was so severe that the car was completely mangled, leaving all four occupants dead on the spot.The deceased have been identified as Sarthak Agarwal, Naman Gupta, Vanshika Khandelwal and Istika Singh, daughter of Jharkhand minister Deepika Pandey Singh.Chief minister Hemant Soren and Health Minister Irfan Ansari expressed grief over the tragedy. Authorities have launched an investigation into the accident.
