BTS Jungkook receives birthday surprise during Los Angeles concert

Jungkook, the “Golden Maknae” of BTS, was treated to a special 29th birthday celebration by fans and his fellow members during the first day of the septet’s “Arirang” concert in Los Angeles, California.

In the middle of the show on Tuesday, Sept.1, the lights suddenly dimmed at the SoFi Stadium then a birthday banner dedicated to the K-pop star flashed on the screen, as seen in the videos shared by fans on TikTok.

As the concertgoers cheered, the members onstage walked toward Jungkook while singing the birthday song, with Jin placing a silver crown on the latter’s head. Jungkook then bowed to the fans and expressed his gratitude.

Jungkook later gave the crown to a girl in a wheelchair in the audience.

During the concert, the members also incorporated birthday greetings in their performances.

Concluding the show, Jungkook also bowed, made a heart sign with his arms, and waved at the camera to thank the fans.

Prior to the concert, Jungkook marked his birthday through a livestream on Weverse, where he spoke about reigniting his passion.
