Despite starting the NBA season 0-3, the Golden State Warriors are currently riding a five-game winning streak, while the Miami Heat have started their season with some losses but have been able to find their groove with two victories recently. With their respective seasons going in opposite directions, both Golden State and Miami are eager to get back to the court for yet another match, as the former is currently having a six-game homestand, while the latter continues its tour of the West Coast of the country.

Stephen Curry's Availability and Recent Form Ahead of Golden State Warriors-Miami Heat Matchup

The Golden State Warriors will be playing their home game against the Miami Heat at the Chase Center on Friday, November 6, and Stephen Curry is set to play for Golden State in this match. With the five-game winning streak under their belt, the Warriors are currently having an excellent season despite the rocky start. Curry is set to start in this match as he is active and healthy.

As Curry and the Warriors previously played against the Phoenix Suns, the team decided to conserve the player's energy. The 38-year-old revealed after the Friday game that he would not be available during the match. Curry did not play in the Warriors' match against the LA Clippers on November 2 because of right knee management, as the team decided to let him rest. Nevertheless, his absence was short-lived, as he played the next night.

Curry had previously played against the Memphis Grizzlies, scoring 24 points, giving out 4 assists and 2 rebounds within 30 minutes in the 111-108 loss. With this absence, Curry gained more time to prepare for the next game for the Warriors. The team was exercising caution regarding their veteran guard. The game between the Warriors and Suns on November 2, 2026, resulted in Curry's participation and 34 points.

Stephen Curry's Injury History and Recent Fitness Concerns

Throughout Stephen Curry's time in the NBA, the athlete has been plagued by multiple injuries, starting with his ankle injuries, which have been some of the most recurrent injuries in his career. These required several surgeries and limited him in his first seasons. He has suffered from several other injuries, including knee, hand, shoulder, and lower body injuries. Curry's current injuries include an ankle and leg injury that occurred during the open practice held on October 18, 2026.

This was followed by an injury to his right knee, causing his absences during the period between January and April 2026. The total number of days that he missed is 65 days. With these recurring concerns in mind, Golden State will need to remain cautious with Curry's workload and monitor his availability throughout the season to keep its veteran guard healthy for the long run.
