Directed by Lance Oppenheim and produced by Ari Aster, Primetime stars Robert Pattinson as To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen. Lipnicki plays Crazyfrog73, a man who walks into the show’s sting house and anchors one of the most talked-about scenes in the film, which world premiered to a seven-minute standing ovation at the 83rd Venice Film Festival before opening in U.S. theaters on September 25.

Other recent credits for Lipnicki include Amazon MGM’s Sarah’s Oil, Lionsgate’s Britt Robertson-led The Re-Education of Molly Singer, TBS’s The Joe Schmo Show and Fox’s The Resident.

Up next for the actor is Williston, a psychological thriller he EP’d in which he stars opposite Matt Walsh and Geneva Carr. He’ll also be seen in the Aaron Eckhart-led action thriller Butcher’s War and has just wrapped a supporting role on the rom-com Mazel Tough, on which he also served as executive producer. Additionally, Lipnicki is an EP on the upcoming Dog Years, starring Xolo Maridueña, Leah Lewis and Xóchitl Gomez.

Breaking out as a child actor, Lipnicki made his film debut opposite Tom Cruise and Renée Zellweger in Cameron Crowe’s Oscar winner Jerry Maguire. Subsequently, he played the lead role in multiple Stuart Little films, as well as basketball comedy Like Mike and children’s book adaptation The Little Vampire.

Previously on television, Lipnicki was a series regular on The Jeff Foxworthy Show and Meego, recurred on Dawson’s Creek and guest starred on Monk and Family Guy. Behind the camera, he has served as an executive producer at Buffalo 8 since 2023, with a focus on packaging and project development, identifying material and bringing talent together.
