MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Police arrested two suspected drug pushers who allegedly yielded P374,000 worth of shabu (crystal methamphetamine) and a gun in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dau on Friday night, Oct. 9.

In a statement, the Pampanga police said the sting operation took place at Purok Balaba Phase 2 at 9:43 p.m.

The two suspects, identified by police as “high-value individuals” on the law enforcement agency’s list of drug personalities, were arrested after allegedly selling a sachet of shabu to an undercover operative in exchange for marked money.

Operatives from the Pampanga police, with support from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Mabalacat police, allegedly seized about 55 grams of suspected shabu and a .38-caliber revolver loaded with two live rounds from the suspects.

The suspects were taken to the Pampanga police Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit office for detention and documentation. /das
