‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Coming Soon to Toca Boca World Gaming App

You’ll soon be able to unleash your inner “KPop Demon Hunters” idol on the Toca Boca World storytelling gaming app for kids, through an exclusive in-game collab with Netflix for the animated hit movie.

The Toca Boca World x “KPop Demon Hunters” collaboration launches Oct. 27, featuring stylized depictions of the movie’s characters with looks inspired by Huntr/x, the Saja Boys and more. The experience will highlight fashion and music from the award-winning film, which has become Netflix’s most-watched movie ever. The app is developed by Toca Boca, the digital studio arm of toy and entertainment company Spin Master.

The new content in Toca Boca World brings together two distinctive dimensions of the world of “KPop Demon Hunters”: the characters’ everyday style and the energy of the K-pop stage. Players can mix and match both to create characters and stories to personalize their storytelling.

As you would expect, music from the movie will be a key feature of the experience. Toca Boca World is launching a new music player including four chart-topping songs from the film — “Golden,” “How It’s Done,” “Soda Pop” and “Your Idol.” For a limited time, players will be able to use these songs as soundtracks for their own stories within Toca Boca World.

“Netflix’s ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ is a global cultural phenomenon, bringing together music, fashion and beloved characters in a way that has clearly resonated with our players,” said Marc De Vellis, Spin Master’s president and digital games. “We were already seeing the Toca Boca community draw inspiration from the film in their stories within Toca Boca World, so this collaboration felt incredibly natural. It gives our players access to authentic and exclusive ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ content, with even more ways to create, play, tell stories and express themselves in a world they love.”

The Toca Boca World app, geared toward younger children, has nearly 60 million players. Previous collaborations in Toca Boca World have included activations with Adidas, Conan Gray, Katseye and “Wicked: For Good” as well as in-game music from popular recording artists Olivia Rodrigo, Sienna Spiro and TWICE.

In addition to the Toca Boca World x “Kpop Demon Hunters” collaboration, Netflix is adding a new experience for gamers on Netflix Playground. “Toca Boca Jr Kitchen” has teamed with Netflix to introduce a stylized “KPop Demon Hunters” update. While keeping the core mechanics intact, the collaboration transforms the gameplay into a mukbang-themed culinary experience. The game is currently available to download on iOS and Android devices, and it’s available for no additional cost with a Netflix subscription.

“KPop Demon Hunters,” produced by Sony Pictures Animation and directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, became a global phenomenon following its release on June 20, 2025. The movie has generated more 670 million views on Netflix and spent 63 consecutive weeks on the streamer’s Global Top 10. A “KPop Demon Hunters” sequel is in the works, reportedly eyeing a 2029 release.

“Kpop Demon Hunters” won the 2026 Oscar for animated feature and picked up other laurels, including Critics’ Choice Awards, Golden Globes and 10 Annie Awards. Its breakout song “Golden” became the first K-pop track to win both an Oscar and a Grammy, and the soundtrack made history as the first to place four songs simultaneously in the Billboard Hot 100 top 10.
