Translate

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — The Philippines’ Gabrielle Galapia is just a step away from the Miss Asia Pacific International 2026 crown now that she has gained a spot among the five finalists.

What started as a field of 38 aspirants at the Mactan Expo in Lapu-Lapu City has now been further trimmed to just five delegates who will fight in the final round of the competition.

Joining Galapia in the Final Five are South Africa’s Nompumelelo Malindi, Mexico’s Itzel Idolina Silva Borbon, Thailand’s Sasiwararin Atsawahirankarn, and Costa Rica’s Gia Angelique Franceschi.

The Grand Coronation Night serves as a culmination for the delegates’ three-week-long stay in Cebu for the 58th anniversary edition of the international pageant.

The Miss Asia Pacific International pageant is the oldest and longest-running international beauty contest founded in Asia, and this is the second consecutive edition that the Province of Cebu is hosting the global tilt.

The 2026 Grand Coronation Night already saw the delegates competing in swimsuit, evening gown, and interview. And one more final question is all it will take before the public gets to see who will take the crown.

The winner will carry out her reign under the pageant’s three pillars–Culture, Connection, and Crown–and will serve as the primary advocate of “Beauty Bridging Borders.” /edv
