More than two years after Jesse Baird and Luke Davies were killed in a Sydney home, former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon has gone on trial in the supreme court.

Lamarre-Condon, who stands accused of the double murder, has pleaded not guilty.

In the opening weeks the court has heard allegations, viewed security footage and witnessed emotional testimonies from friends of the young couple.
