Hollyoaks airs devastating shooting cliffhanger in early streaming release

Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Tuesday’s episode (3 November), which is available to watch now on streaming service Channel 4 and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
Hollyoaks has aired a shock shooting in the village, as the aftermath of Ste Hay’s kidnapping takes a horrifying turn. Ste has been held captive by vengeful Imran Maalik for months now, but this week Sienna and Imran’s former accomplice Cindy finally managed to find him in a hidden location.
Elsewhere, Lucas tracked down Imran after leaving hospital and the pair ended up in a huge brawl. When Leah showed up, she threw a potted plant in an attempt to break up the fight.

In today’s episode, Hollyoaks residents including Leela and Tony got a huge shock when Sienna and Cindy brought Ste home to the village after two months held captive. Cindy told everyone, including Ste himself, that the kidnapper was Imran.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that Leah had accidentally hit Lucas during the chaos, and she raged at Imran after discovering that he was responsible for taking Ste. But as Leah and Lucas learned that their dad was home, Imran used the opportunity to escape.
Ste and his loved ones shared information about what had happened over the last few weeks, then while Leah reunited with her dad, Sienna phoned the police.
Instead of going to see his dad, Lucas headed to the station to confirm the truth about Imran’s revenge plot, telling Donny to go to the boat where he would find all his plans.
As a result, Lucas was forced to admit that Imran blackmailed him into helping with the kidnapping – but urged Donny to act quickly as Imran said he had a gun.

Donny phoned Misbah and told her the horrifying truth about her son. When returning Imran overheard this, he swiftly ran away, though as he was escaping out the back of the house, he ran into returning Prince and Vicky.
Later, Cindy found Imran by the houseboat and told him that Sienna had informed the police about his crimes. She urged her former lover to be honest and turn himself in, but Imran hit back and told Cindy she had led him on during their brief romance.
As Cindy left, armed police led by Donny arrived and surrounded the houseboat. Imran packed a bag and headed outside, where distressed Misbah rushed towards her son.

Imran refused to reveal whether or not he had a weapon, and when he reached into his pocket, the police had no choice but to shoot him.
As flashback footage of Imran played, Misbah ran to her dying son – and Cindy was devastated to realise that Imran was taking out the infamous painting, not a gun. Has Imran been killed?
