Neuer error leads to fastest-ever Bundesliga goal

Translate

Augsburg's Robin Fellhauer wrote his name into German footballing history on Saturday, scoring the fastest ever Bundesliga goal against Bayern Munich courtesy of a comical Manuel Neuer error.

It took Fellhauer just eight seconds to latch on to a loose pass from Neuer before tucking home into an empty net almost immediately after Bayern had kicked off.

Neuer received the ball from the centre circle in what was the first pass of the game, before taking a touch and attempting to lift it over the midfielder, but Fellhauer took it off his toes and around the German keeper to put Augsburg in front in record time.

Earliest Goals in Bundesliga History

Robin Fellhauer - 8 seconds vs Bayern Munich

Kevin Volland - 9 seconds vs Bayern Munich

Karim Bellarabi - 9 seconds vs Bayer Leverkusen

Ulf Kirsten - 11 seconds vs FC Kaiserslautern
