Crowds gathered at cemeteries and popular tourist destinations across the provinces on Sunday as Filipinos observed All Saints' Day, or Undas.
In Baguio City, around 4,500 people had visited the Baguio City Public Cemetery as of Sunday morning, according to GMA Regional TV’s Jasmin Gabriel-Galban.
“Medyo sumadami na po ang ating mga bisita. Dito mismo sa Baguio Public Cemetery, meron an tayong more or less 4,500 ngayon umaga… So far, as of this time, okay naman po ang ating sitwasyon dito,” Baguio City Police Director P/Col. Nixon Laoyan said.
(Our visitors are steadily increasing. Here at the Baguio Public Cemetery alone, we have more or less 4,500 people this morning… So far, the situation here remains manageable.)
Tourists also visited popular attractions in the city, including The Mansion and Wright Park, where visitors enjoyed horseback riding.
The Baguio City Police urged tourists and residents to cooperate and remain understanding to ensure peaceful visits and smooth travel during Undas.
Meanwhile, in Boracay Island, visitors paid their respects to departed loved ones at the Manoc-Manoc Public Cemetery.

In a report by Kim Salinas of GMA Regional TV, some visitors said they had traveled all the way from the mainland to visit the cemetery.
Some visitors also noted the significant increase in flower prices this year. A flower arrangement basket that cost P250 last year, for instance, was being sold for P500.
In Cagayan de Oro City, crowds lined up early Sunday morning at the entrance of the City Memorial Park, GMA Regional TV’s James Paolo Yap reported.

To manage the influx of visitors, the local government closed the road to motorists and provided free rides so people would not have to walk more than 600 meters to reach the cemetery.
Unlike last year, when the free transport service was limited to vulnerable sectors, this year's Libreng Sakay was made available to all visitors and operated until 6 p.m.
In Davao City, floodwaters in parts of the Panacan Public Cemetery, caused by heavy rains on October 29, had gradually subsided, allowing residents to visit their departed loved ones.
“Oo, meron din tayong pag-aalala [na] baka pagdating natin dito para magsindi ng kandila sa ating mga mahal sa buhay, baka may tubig, hindi tayo makasindi. ‘Yun lang, kaya nagpapasalamat ako kagabi kasi mahina lang yung ulan,” a visitor said in a report by Danica Raneses of GMA Regional TV.
(Yes, we were worried that when we arrived to light candles for our loved ones, there might still be floodwater and we wouldn't be able to do so. That's why I'm thankful that the rain was light last night.)
Cemetery caretaker Michael Abellar said they had been using submersible pumps to drain flooded areas in coordination with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
“Pang Day 6 namin ngayon sa pag-pump dito sa tubig, pero kaunti na lang talaga. Humupa na actually yang tubig diyan,” Abellar said.
(This is our sixth day pumping water out of the area, but there is very little left now. The floodwaters have actually subsided.)
The cemetery administration has also been relocating remains from flood-prone sections of the cemetery, according to Raneses' report. — Lyjah Tiffany Bonzo/MCG, GMA News
