Marvel Studios’ 'Avengers: Doomsday' is generating quite the buzz, months ahead of its December release. With three months still to go before the superhero epic hits theatres, the film has already generated an estimated USD 55 million in domestic pre-sales.According to Global Box Office, 'Avengers: Doomsday' has now surpassed the USD 55 million mark in US advance ticket sales, three months before its theatrical release. This places the film among the top highest pre-release bookings in US history. The current list shared by the tracker features 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' at USD 150 million, 'Avengers: Endgame' at USD 130 million and 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' at USD 78 million in pre-release sales.The latest figure comes shortly after Disney CFO Hugh Johnston confirmed that Doomsday had crossed USD 50 million in domestic pre-sales.Meanwhile, the film has been hit by unverified rumours of a leak. As per the latest buzz, a full 2160p copy has been circulating online and is allegedly being shared in private. Some claims point to Telegram and other private file-sharing groups. However, at the same time, there is currently no confirmation that the full film has leaked.

Images and clips said to be from the film, and showing Robert Downey Jr's Doctor Doom and damaged Sentinels, have also surfaced online, sparking debate on whether the material is genuine or AI-generated.

The speculation comes as Marvel ramps up its promotional campaign for the film, with buzz about a new trailer dropping this week, with the release of 'Avengers Endgame: Encore', which returns to theatres on Friday, September 25. The film will reportedly feature an exclusive look at 'Avengers: Doomsday', with additional footage available to audiences watching in IMAX and Infinity Vision-certified screens.'Avengers: Doomsday' is set to release worldwide on December 18.
