England take on Croatia this evening in the penultimate fixture of their four-game international break.
The Three Lions have embarked on their Nations League chapter following World Cup heartbreak in the summer, thanks to Argentina’s last-gasp winner in the semi-finals in Arlington, Texas.
Thomas Tuchel has since overseen a defeat by world champions Spain and a win over the Czech Republic in the first two games of this three-week window, and there is another clash with the Czechs to come to round off the first internationals of the new season.
This fixture will be a little different, however, with the match, set to take place at the Stadion HNK in Rijeka, to happen behind closed doors.

That is because the Croatians were handed a stadium ban by UEFA, penalising them for crowd disturbances and discriminatory fan behavior during a match against France in March last year.
Slaven Bilic’s side reached the first knockout round of the World Cup, before they were beaten by Portugal 2-1 in Toronto, Canada, as Goncalo Ramos’ stoppage-time winner completed a superb fightback from a goal down.
