The Indian women’s hockey team completed its fifth consecutive win to finish top of the Pool B standings after a 7-0 win over Singapore at the Gifu Prefectural Green Stadium on Sunday.
Sunelita Toppo bagged a brace, while Salima Tete, Lalremsiami, Rutuja Pisal, Nikki Pradhan and Deepika also found the back of the net for India.
The victory helped Sjoerd Marijne’s team set up a semifinal against Pool A runners-up South Korea on Wednesday, September 30.
