Mining CS Hassan Joho Expands Vehicle Collection With KSh 105M Ferrari Purosangue

Translate

Mining and Blue Economy Cabinet Secretary Hassan Joho has sparked widespread discussion online after unveiling his latest luxury vehicle, a Ferrari Purosangue estimated at KSh 105 million.

Footage circulating across social media platforms shows the former Mombasa governor alongside the Italian machine, finished in Ferrari’s signature Rosso red. The high-end acquisition joins Joho’s established fleet of luxury automobiles, which includes a Bentley Mulsanne, a Ferrari California, and a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.

Performance Credentials

Marketed as a “Ferrari Utility Vehicle” rather than a conventional SUV, the Purosangue is the Italian automaker’s first production model featuring a four-door, four-seat layout.

Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine delivering 725 horsepower. The high-performance machine accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, reaching a top speed exceeding 310 km/h.

With shipping, import tariffs, and local duty factored in, automotive analysts estimate the landed cost of the Purosangue in Kenya between KSh 100 million and KSh 115 million, making it one of the most expensive utility vehicles registered on Kenyan roads.
