MANILA, Philippines – Motorists are facing higher fuel prices this week as oil companies raised pump prices by P2.49 per liter for gasoline, P3.84 per liter for diesel and P5.01 per liter for kerosene starting Tuesday, August 18.
The adjustments came after last week’s price rollbacks.
The Department of Energy said the increases were driven by movements in global oil prices amid continued uncertainty over the situation in the Middle East./dp
