Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesian Army and United States Army soldiers completed the 15-day Ksatria Warrior 2026 Joint Training Exercise at the Kodiklatad Training Center in Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu District, South Sumatra.

"This demonstrates that the spirit of mutual respect, mutual benefit, and mutual trust is not just a slogan, but has been embodied in every stage of the training," Deputy Assistant VIII/Non-Asian Military Cooperation of the Army Operations Staff Colonel Inf. Medi Hariyo Wibowo said in a statement on Friday (August 28).

As the inspector of the closing ceremony, Wibowo expressed his appreciation for all parties involved in the joint training exercise.

During the training, Indonesian Army and US Army soldiers built relationships through mutual learning, coordination, and communication.

Wibowo expressed hope that the exercise would sharpen soldiers' combat capabilities while strengthening military cooperation and broader bilateral ties between Indonesia and the United States.

In the same statement, USARPAC Operations Officer-in-Charge Colonel Richard King said the ability of Indonesian Army and US Army soldiers to coordinate and work together during the exercise reflected the strengthening ties between the two countries.

According to King, the cooperation built through the exercise was highly valuable. He added that the soldiers' ability to coordinate and work as a team reflected the strengthening ties between the two countries.

He hoped this relationship would continue for the common good, particularly in strengthening both countries' defenses.

During the 15-day Ksatria Warrior 2026 Exercise, soldiers received various training materials covering theoretical, technical, tactical, staff, and operational aspects.

The training included theoretical classroom learning (Academic Day), Engineer Capabilities (ENCAP) training through the renovation of SDN 04 Peracak, and decision-making exercises (Staffex).

Soldiers also participated in Field Training Exercises (FTX) and Live Fire Exercises (LFX).

The series of exercises was designed to enhance soldiers' technical, tactical, staff, and operational coordination capabilities.
