Game Of Thrones: The Blood Of The Dragon Officially Announced

With Game of Thrones coming to an end back in 2019 and House of the Dragon fans currently waiting for the fourth and final season, which is at least two years away, it is safe to say that the A Song of Ice and Fire universe is currently in hiatus, at least until the launch of season two of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms in the first half of 2027.

Whilst the beloved television shows may be experiencing a brief hiatus, its video game division is most certainly not, with plenty of studios taking their inspiration from the stunning world created by George R.R. Martin.

Not only is Game of Thrones: War for Westeros expected to launch in 2027, offering fans a real-time strategy experience, but Game of Thrones: Conquest is performing just as well.

First launching on Android and iOS back in 2017, Game of Thrones: Conquest is still receiving regular updates to this day, and as such, it is keeping up with the A Song of Ice and Fire universe as it canonically grows. Now, with September finally upon us, a brand-new update has arrived and this time it is centered around the Dragonseeds.

As House of Dragon fans will know, Dragonseeds are the illegitimate, common-born and bastard offspring of the Targaryens and Valyrians and, due to their dragon blood, they too have the magical ability to bond with and eventually ride a dragon. In the show, we see the likes of Hugh the Hammer and Ulf claim a dragon due to their parentage, and that is what the latest season of Game of Thrones: Conquest will cover.

“House Targaryen holds no more resistance to mortal temptations than any other house. They may try to hide it, but the bastards produced by the house, known as dragonseeds, live throughout Westeros. But with the flames of conflict pitting family against each other, Rhaenyra is desperate for victory. She makes a call for those with Valyrian blood, noble or otherwise, to back her cause and claim riderless dragons."

Throughout the Dragonseed event for Game of Thrones: Conquest, players can look forward to the following rewards:

• New Dragon Gear: Ever-Ready Warrior Saddle
• Braavosi Loan trophies can be traded for prizes in the Recipes tab of your Inventory while the Battle of Yunkai or Bay of Dragons events are active. Remember to use all your Braavosi Loan trophies before the Bay of Dragons event ends!

With the new gear-boosting statistics, it is not to be missed and the addition of the witch Alys Rivers and Vermithor rider Hugh Hammer will prove a formidable accompaniment to your ever-growing army.
